Thursday Market Mom was created by a stay-at-home mom living in the beautiful Rogue Valley who craved connection with the community she lived in. She was starting to feel out of touch with a world driven by consumerism, online ordering, and machine-made, one-size-fits-all products. When she shopped the local farmers markets she felt a sense of belonging and connection to the faces she saw every week; she learned their names, their products, and their stories.
When she had the crazy idea to start a business from the ground up, she wanted to create a business that connected consumers with their purchases, the makers, and the community it came from. She wanted to model a sense of purpose and responsibility for her children. She wanted to take the feeling of community that she felt when standing in the Thursday farmers market and have it be the core of her business model and products. She wanted to bring back a sense of connection that had been lost with mass production and shopping.
Here at Thursday Market Mom, we connect you with the people who made your peanut butter, baked your bread, aged your cheese, canned your jam, grew your lavender, jarred your honey, poured your candles, formulated your soaps, raised your meats, and tended to your starters. We ensure that in every Taste of the Market crate you only receive products from local Rogue Valley artisans.
